The Door County Music Scene
Throughout Door County, there are plenty of places to see live music.Â
While walking down the sidewalk, you may encounter a street performer. Â More than a few restaurants offer live music. Â The festivals and the annual Door County Fair always have bands. Â And the bars, pubs and taverns will book bands on a rather frequent basis.Â

Professional workshops for various styles of musicians take place throughout the summer. This is an old handcrafted barn that serves as a concert hall for jazz and chamber performances. International artists and conductors visit between June andÂ
autumn for regularly scheduled concerts.Â
Peninsula Music FestivalÂ
3045 Cedar Street , Ephraim .
This is a series of concerts that are performed by the only Northeast Wisconsin professional Symphony Orchestra. They take place in the first three weeks of August at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek. Later on in the winter, they also perform three more concerts at the Bjorklunden Lodge in Baileys Harbor .Â
Peninsula Symphonic BandÂ
7717 Sleepy Hallow Road, Egg Harbor.Â
This band was formed in 1990, and is the only community symphonic band in the county. These local musicians donate their time for several concerts that are performed throughout the year.Â
