Door County Fishing, Some of the Best in the Midwest

Door County has over 250 miles of shoreline along the bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan. This gives every angler a great opportunity to have access to a wide range of fishing. 

Salmon, trout, walleye, bass and perch are some of the most popular varieties sought. There are various tournaments throughout the peninsula that on each of these fish.

Take advantage of many of the piers to do some shore fishing or find a stream, don your waders and take a few casts. 

If you come to the county and have your own boat, then there are boat launches located in many parks and marinas throughout the county.

If you don't have a boat then you can rent one, take a cruise and try your luck.

If you don't have any of your own equipment, then you can utilize the many charter boats available. Charter Fishing boats operate on both the bay side and the Lake Michigan side of the peninsula.
